P0711 code

Hi, my Berlingo has a P0711 code (transmission oil temperature sensor fault) but I believe the '04 1.9d doesn't have that sensor fitted can anyone give me any pointers as to where I can start looking?
Engine check light only comes in when coasting then disappears when I begin accelerating again.

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere to something which makes or breaks depending if the engine moves forward or backwards on its mountings when you accelerate or slow down.

I would delete it and retry . If you dont have automatic transmission then its a spurious reading.

Try a BSI reset
