Need some help please...had the clutch replaced on my 14 plate 1.6hdi van and advised an issue when pulling away,
The van shudders on biting point, Then going from 1st to 2nd you let the clutch back up and it shudders.
Going back in this week to get sorted any ideas as to the cause.
LUK clutch fitted...solid flywheel not changed assured it was ok. Huh

Clutch is not the problem, you need to replace engine/gearbox mounts, use search because this problem was already discussed Smile

Spot on. The lower rear engine mount (torque link) is the problem, not the clutch. The other two engine mounts may be soggy too.

Just to conclude, The vans now back and drives spot on, It required a flywheel, Replacement clutch fitted and flywheel due to high spots on the flywheel clearly visible on the pressure plate.
Another job ticked off.
