Suspension top mount

I AM GOING INSANE

i need your help guys, 
berlingo b9 2009
parts used. 
monroe upper mount: mk196
monroe struts: G7323/G7324
sachs springs:  993300

As you see here. the top mount is hold down with this nut. as it should. 


but when this nut is tighten down in its place. it sticks up inside the engine bay.  i would belive it should be further down. so the cap can rest on the chassie. 
the problem is that the top cap is just pressed down to this nut and not the chassie. so i get this loose upper spring mount. i have turned the cap around. and this worked a couple of weeks. but then is knocks again and the rubber is chafing on the chassie . 



what am i doing wrong here?

There must be something extra on the spring top holding it up.

when the shock assembely was out. i took just the topmount with the nut on top and put it inside the wheel housing where it should be. and i got the same result the nut is comming inside the enigne bay.
