Ok first post.
Van won't change out of 4th gear, clutch is ok but seems that something has snapped, took off plastics to have a look the cable on the left is stiff and doesn't move at all. Other cable moves up and down. Is this the issue and is it and easy DIY job?

I assume that one cable moves the gearbox connection forward and back and the other moves it from side to side . If the gearstick needs to move backwards/backwards to neutral then I'd says the stuck cable is the cause.
Never saw one with cable driven selector or changed one so cant help you there.

Check the gearbox end to see if any of the bits have come off. There are a few levers on the engine end of those cables.
