Berlingo on Top Gear
#1
Has anyone seen the latest episode of Top Gear? The last item in the show is choosing the best new family car on sale in the UK. Out of 100 cars considered the Berlingo made it to number 2!
We all know what a brilliant family car it is, but I would never have expected Top Gear to have rated it so highly!

Very true. Did you watch The Grand Tour - Carnage a Trois? Brilliant!

I agree, but can't watch Paddy McGuiness, Freddy Flintoff and that other bloke as the top gear three, it has to be Clarkson, Hammond and May for me - tried it, can't watch the new lot.

Yes, it all got a bit too wacky for me, but I still watched Clarkson & Co.
When they changed to new presenters I thought that I might like it better, but it just didn’t work.
I have not watched since, but was told about the Berlingo feature, and watched it on BBC iplayer.

I would have too, as I love my Berlingo. Watch Grand Tour "Carnage a Trois" on Amazon Prime if you have it, they are at their best. Clarkson with a fake mustache on, insulting the French, it's what he does best. One of the road-trip cars is an M59 and it does it's party trick...hilarious by the way.

Oh wow, I thought I did but now to think of it - it was all in my head. Will fix this right away.

I too couldn't get to watch the "new" Top Gear and enjoy it. Tapped out after just a few episodes in total together with the US version.

The Clarkson trio replacements stopped me from watching Top Gear as well, gave them a couple of chances and gave up. Somewhow they don't seem to work for me.
Having said that I'm not exactly a fan of any of them individually either so I guess my binning Top Gear was ineivitable.
Whilst I'm venting I'll add that Glennister bloke to my intense dislike list as well.

Berlingo ratings ..... well I'm biased of course ... Lol

Clarkson actually did a review many moons ago on Top Gear of the M59 model Berlingo where he travelled over to France on the ferry in a Berlingo [in the age of the 'Booze' cruises] to visit the French hypermarkets to see how many bottles of French plonk he could cram in on a trip back....and then 'bottled' it and returned with just one bottle of wine..
