And tonight the car has started stuttering again like in the beginning.... I m so disappointed with citroen and this car..
Through a friend of a friend we re due to go to an expert in modern cars which show multiple faults and similar problems but that will be on the 26th.
Fingers crossed once again....

So unfortunately this ain't getting any better... citroen says now another part again to do with air intake needs to be replaced at a cost of €400!!!! I declined as we have an appointment with a mechanic who is supposed to be the best in mid slovakia for solving these issues.
Sorry I can't name the part precisely but as I ve said I don't speak the language and my wife who doesn't understand car parts etc has to translate. I will know more once I pick up the car tommorow.
I m also sending a letter to Citroen slovakia and France to see if they are willing to extend the warranty on goodwill. 34 months old /30,000kms
Needless to say I m devastated.

Final report I hope?. The expert we took the car to said it was the ad blue all the way and all repairs done so far by the local citroen authorised garage were a waste of money. Adblue has been disconnected and does not effect emissions. Mechanic drove the car approximately 50kms with no problem whatsoever and I drove back home another 30kms without any problems. I hope this is the end of my problems.
I really wanted to take up the matter with citroen slovakia and get them to extend the guarantee and accept responsibility for these repairs but unfortunately I have a lot of travelling to do soon so I was kind of caught in a catch 22 situation.
It is a shame really that so many new citroen cars have this adblue problem.
Let it be the last....

That itself seems very odd, as the Adblue is injected directly into the cat and not the intake or the fuel system. I cannot see how Adblue can possibly affect the running of any vehicle.
It does however, definitely affect emissions. It's there to cut NOx emissions in the cat, but I expect your MOT equivalent does not check for that. You cannot just "disconnect" the Adblue system, where does it now inject the fluid? What happens when the tank runs low?

I hope someone else can help us here as I do jot have this knowledge and as there is the language barrier here I can't really have extensive conversations with the mechanics. The only other thing I ve been told is that it can be reconnected in the future.

The whole system can be disabled in the ECU. The car will behave like it was never equipped with one.

Yes I know, I can disable mine anytime, but it requires Diagbox or at least a very good diagnostic such as Autel MK808 or Snap-On to do so. It isn't just a case of disconnecting something, is what I meant.
I wouldn't do this to the DPF & PAT system as it is needed to keep smoke to the right level on an MOT, but if the Adblue system ever failed in mine, I would disable it immediately, as it isn't tested for MOT here.
Not sure what the requirements are in the OPs country, maybe they test for NOx, maybe not, if they do then it would fail a test with the Adblue system knocked out.

How wonderful. One of our Berlingos started to do the same exact thing. It's now at the dealer. I'll keep you posted.
