Engine fault…..
#1
So I had the van on ramps (front wheels up only) to get easier access to the washe bottle and when I started it to drive it back down the engine check light came one along with the urea light and the message said engine fault… code reader throws up U029D…. Has anyone else had this? All was fine and as soon as it comes down this comes up? Has the adblue seeped back into the system? Seems strange a Nox fault

That code is a comms failure with the DeNox system (Nox sensor)

Adblue does not mix with fuel. It can't run back anywhere, it is injected raw into the exhaust stream by an injector and catalyses with Nox to get rid of it.

Here's a good article on it (Peugeot but same system)
