How do I spot a good Berlingo?

The 2.0HDI is a proven unstressed bulletproof engine and far better than the early troublesome 1.6HDI (completely different engine to the 2.0HDI). The EGR valve is easily disconnected if needed. The clutch is old school single mass.
I wish I had seen this 6 months ago.  It looks pretty good.  I did a quick search for an automatic but again they seem to be as rare as rocking horse whatsit!!  Also the mileages seem to be a bit high for my use but I wish I had bought one used in about 2004 because I would very likely have still had it with no miles to speak of on it! Cool

They are out there but need some searching. I bought mine 18months ago with 83k miles on it (it's now got 99k.
It recently had a new set of Continental tyres, new exhaust, decent brand battery and a big stack of paperwork and receipts for a replacement axle/gear linkages/clutch. The MOT history was good.
2004 Peugeot Escapade 2.0HDI. 83k miles
2004 Volvo V70 2.4  200k miles
2011 Volvo XC90 215k miles

Thank you so much everyone. There is some really great advice there. It will be a bit of a waiting game for me know to see what comes up. I can imagine that the good examples go fast at the moment.
