Bonnet Strut Installation Kit Gas Lift Damper Citroen Berlingo II 2008-
#1
Anyone installed a bonnet strut damper kit?
I find really annoying when i open the bonnet to put the bonnet support bar.. even Dacia fits dampers on bonnet hood..

just found this on ebay:

Not on this vehicle. But I have to agree with you on the pain of using the bonnet stay. All cars now have hydraulic struts and it's so much easier.

I do like that - it's a pity the kit is not a little cheaper. Sad

Just found this and I am tempted to see if I can fettle it to fit.

it's not that easy if you don't have the brackets

I think the kit I linked is too long as I have been and measured briefly (hail stopped me) and it is a lot shorter than I thought.

Just found this but still looking.

I can select a size needed and we get a choice of balls. All that is needed is two steel bars and I have plenty of that in scrap - even in heavy Dexion so it has holes ready made!  LOL

Oh my, it just gets better. lol

Hi
I looked at that 'Kit' and if you zoom in on the main photo, you will see they have just jammed the top threaded knuckle in behind the bonnet securing bolt. A right bodge job.
