Upgrading speakers in utility van 2013 model
#1
Hello,

I am looking at upgrading my speakers in my 2013 berlingo utility van.  I have found some JBL speakers and a underseat subwoover.  In my berlingo the radio is a GPS system with bluetooth and aux in.  It is very nice already, and I do not want to change that part of my system.  It is factory stock

But how many watts does that system produce?  And will I be able to increase from my current 2 speakers in the doors to 4 speakers (2 in the doors and 2 on the top part of the dashboard)?

I have been researching speakers the past days, and the consensus is that component systems are better than coaxial systems.  Does the factory unit have connections on the back for more than 2 speakers?

Or should I add a JBL amplifier somewhere?

I am having a professional car electronics person install it all.  I am supposed to meet him next week, I hope.  But I want to get a list together of what I want and need.

Thanks!

I’d ask him. If they have been at it a while they know what’s current etc.
