New member/Boot jump
#1
Thumbs Up
Hello to all members and thanks for all the help and advice, given on these pages.

I've had my Berlingo for just over a year now and have just started a boot jump/bed project. I've used mixture of members plans (thanks iscom) and my own ideas. I've just added some photos and info to the following thread;

All the best, Jon.

Hello Jon, nice work there. Only thing I would say is put some vent holes in the phenolic ply or your foam mattress will get damp. I had to make a slatted base for a mattress in our trailer tent for similar reason.
So where does this bit go then ?

Hi, thanks. I'm just trying to decide whether to go for simple holes, maybe 70 mm or so, or go for a slatted type design like on an ambro boot jump. It's something I'm definitely going to do as it's quite heavy at the moment. I hadn't considered the damp issue, so thanks for the heads up.
