FOG LIGHT 'CHROME' TRIM (B9)

Has anyone experienced the same problem relating to the front, nearside fog light 'chrome' trim?! I have had to replace the trim with a genuine Citroen part, but despite how much pressure I place on the trim to get it to fit flush with the casing, there is a gap showing. The casing is not loose, so I can't see it being out of place. 

It is strange as I happened to see another Berlingo on a car park with the same problem! Your views and advice would be much appreciated, as always! Dave
