Just added a litre of the FAP fluid in the tank as it was very low. No lights on or anything. My question is , do you have to tell the vehicle it’s has some added of will it know ? If it has to be told How ? Is it something I can do myself or is it a Citroen dealer job. Berlingo van 2014 1.6 hdi
Many thanks.

You can do it with a specific interface called the Actia Lexia-3 full-chip and software called DiagBox, best gotten as a virtual machine and ran via VMware player. The original software is a nightmare to install and only works on windows 7 x 32 bit, as well as being partly in French. Not for the feint hearted by the way.
Otherwise, Citroen dealer.
You do have to code the refill in the engine ECU and the multiplexed additive ECU. On a 2014 it should be a pouch, not a tank?
The pouch system has no way of measuring the amount. The later tank version does. Tanks were fitted from 2015/16 onward but you could have an early tank version I suppose.
