Water ingress through aerial?
#1
Noticed water dripping off rear view mirror and off of the drivers sun shade

Nearest Citroen dealers is 30 miles away and since this is our only car and we’d have no way of getting home whilst they look at the car, it’s booked into an independent down the road.  He said he thinks it’s probably coming through the aerial. There’s no obvious holes/cracks but that sounds sensible to me

Of course now I’m worried they won’t be able to remove the overhead storage thing to get to the leak.

Any hints or tips I can tell them about? YouTube videos or suchlike?

Access to the aerial is just a couple of clip out tabs around the light if i remember - its a really simply thing to get to so nothing to worry about

Thanks tree. Hopefully then it’s not too big a job! I’ll let them know when I drop it off. They were talking about talking the interior apart to get to it!

sadly it turns out in the newer models they've moved the aerial base and just popping the light panel out no longer gives you access.

so its off for a no doubt expensive trip to the nearest Citroen dealer (30 miles away). but they are letting me have a courtesy car otherwise id be stranded as this is our only car.
