500,000 mile + Picasso

Might interest some, as this old Xsara Picasso has the same 2.0Hdi engine as the earlier Berlingo (M59) model

I had one of these, with the 2.0Hdi in the past and sold it at about 110,000...maybe I should have kept it. The only thing that really bugged me about these was the horrendous reflections from that angled front windscreen that made driving in bright sunshine a not great experience.

I'm guessing the credit for these long-serving diesels probably belongs to the Peugeot side of PSA - they've had a knack for producing reliable engines for quite a few years, as shown by all the 504s and 505s that are still regarded as the 'workhorses' of Africa.
