12v cigarette lighter/socket problem
#1
Hello berlino people!

I come looking for advice. I was doing some interior repaint on the plastic piece around gear shifter. Removed the 12v socket connections, no problems, but when I started to put the piece back the 12v sockets didn't work. Found a blown 20A fuse which I replaced but as soon as I turn the ignition the fuse blows again.

I'm no electrician but I'm assuming it's caused by a short, but for the hell of me I couldn't figure out how since the wires and connections look fine. Does anyone know what should I check, or should I just get some new sockets? Thanks in advance
