Seatbelt warning light

Hi bought my 2019 berlingo van a few months ago and there’s no seat belt waning light or sound when the seat belts not on … is it possible it’s been turned off somehow or any other reason ? Any help would be appreciated

Faulty clip sensor / switch perhaps? (stuck in the position of thinking the belt is plugged in)

It's unlikely to be turned off, since that is not possible on a 2019 vehicle without Citroen coding it to be ignored, and they would be unlikely to do so. That cannot be done at home by anyone with any software or tool.
