Diesel take off connection for a diesel heater

Hi All

New here but no stranger to camper conversions. Just looking for some advice about getting diesel to the heater.

I have fitted them into VW T5s before and I was able to buy a diesel pick up tube that fitted through the tank sender. It was a really neat solution. Does anybody know If I can get a similar part for the Berlingo? Its a 62 plate WAV.

I'd rather not "T" into the diesel supply pipe if it can be avoided.

Gussing you have solved this by now, but in case anyone wonders... I have done this successfully. Ordered a standpipe at amazon, and mounted through the sender unit lid. Be careful so that the standpipe is to the side and does not interfere with vertical movement of the sender unit. Countrary to what I read online, it is possible to do the install *without* lowering the tank. It's a little tricky, but if you compress the sender unit springs, you can get the thing out of the tank enough to drill a hole and install the stand pipe, then mount again. Saves a lot of time.
