FREE - spare wheel shims for K9 Berlingo XL
#1
I got the spare wheel pack to fit to my standard length K9 Berlingo. The pack comes with plastic shims that mount on the underside of the car to prevent the spare wheel from rattling around. There are two heights -  to fit either a 215 or 205 width tyre. I don't need the ones for the long wheelbase version. Free to a good home - useful if you already have the jack etc and don't need to buy that whole pack just to get the two bits of (admittedly useful) plastic!

My spare wheel pack (from our local Vauxhall dealer) came with three different sizes of shim but no instructions as to which to fit. Which shim goes where??

Hi there. You only need one of the pairs of shims, depending on whether you have the standard or long length vehicle, and the width of spare wheel (i.e. full size or space saver). I attach the instructions I was given with my spare wheel set. Note, I have the space saver so also kept the shims required for a full size wheel in case I need to stow a damaged full size wheel under there for any period.

Thank you very much for this. I have fitted the wrong ones but the carrier looks and feels secure. I will fit the correct ones at the next opportunity.

Cheers
