20mph Zones Speed Limiter

I know a lot of folk don't like a speed limiter, but it came fitted on my 2014 VTR auto. I've always used the cruise control where there's an average-speed camera in use. 
But now there are many 20mph zones everywhere I've started to use the speed limiter, especially in London where there are so many cameras, as it seems too slow when the roads and pavements are empty. A friend got done at 23mph in central London, so there's not much leeway at slow speeds. If you are considering removing the limiter you might want to think again?

The manual limiter you set yourself, is useful and is not what people are trying to remove.

It's the one fitted to ex British Gas vans for example, which will not let it exceed 65-70 mph depending on their company policy. Those can't be defeated nor the limit changed.

I have the Citroen one you set yourself. It's fine and no one else who has one would try to remove that or their cruise control would no longer work.
