Does anybody think it’s worth replacing the tank( mainly for the new pump) when replacing the Eolys. Has anybody replaced the Eolys and then got another 100000 mls out of the pump? Any pointers opinions welcome.

You can get original part tank complete for £185. The Eolys seems to be about £65. I have diag box to reset. Is it worth paying the 185 for new part or will the original part do another turn. Just seems like if it’s done 102000 which it has will it do that again without failing. Are the pumps reliable? Thanks for the input.

Can anyone tell me if there is a bladder contained within the plastic casing or whether the casing is the container itself.

2015 was a flip flop year for pouch or tank, from 2016 on, all are tanks. Before 2015 all should be a pouch.

That's the one mine has. It had a level sender, unlike the pouch system. They aren't exchangeable. That's not the pouch version as the pouch had only a plastic cover.
I.e. if you have one version, you can't fit the other. On the ones with a pouch, Citroen fitted a separate additive pump ECU, on the ones with a tank and pump, the engine ECU has the additive control integrated into it. They're not compatible with each other
On the pouch system, the "tank" looking bit is a 5 sided cover and when it's off, the pump and pouch are visible.
On the tank system, it's all integrated into the tank unit and can't be seen. It only has a hose and a plug, the hardware is inside. When the tank is disconnected, the whole lot comes off as a one-er

That’s good to know. Think I will refill it then and see how it goes.
