Scammers are using our site. I have had scammers contact me when i posted parts wanted. Be vigilant

Haha I boot (ban) 5 or 6 every day mate, they have always used the site and pestered folk trying to sell or buy stuff. Usually it's "oh I have a friend selling one of these, email imadickheadscammer@outlook.com if you're interested - $30" really???....

This should be no surprise. As Alun says, there are scammers about. In fact, MILLIONS of them trying to steal your money, details or financial info. Don't fall for it.

Don't send money to people who have just contacted you out of the blue (stick to folk who are known members for a while if possible) and get a UK phone number so you can call them, check they are genuine. Isn't guaranteed, but goes some way towards it.

Otherwise, walk away.
