2014 Berlingo Stereo No Sound
#1
I recently put a new battery in my 2014 Berlingo now the Stereo has No Sound. Stereo comes on but no sound from stereo or parking sensor. Any ideas guys? Reset it and checked fuses but no avail.

Never heard that one in 12 years on here mate. No idea, and that's not like me LOL. Do you have Bluetooth (is it an RD45 with hands free) - is it stuck in a mode that isn't one with an input like Aux? Have you tried all modes, Radio, CD, Aux, Bluetooth etc? No sound on any of them?

If so, then I think it may have been a radio too long and has left the building.

Yes it's Bluetooth with hands free. Not stuck in any mode. No Sound at all.

I'd suspect it's faulty / fried then. You can fit a replacement RD45 but it's going to need coded with Citroen Diagbox software to put your VIN into it or it will just beep constantly.

Also if you put an aftermarket one in, you lose control of the central screen, the setting of the clock and other stuff. Not to mention the parking beeps - which need re-routed to the speaker in the steering column with Diagbox while the original stereo is still fitted.

Just a slim chance, you may get away with a BSI reset, it's posted in the how-to section at the top.

BSI Reset procedure

One last thing ..if you press both volume buttons in at the same time on the back of the stalk on the RHS of the steering column, it puts the stereo into dead-mute. You sometimes have to press one of those volume buttons on the stalk to get the sound back on. That's not what you've done, is it???

Oh and the button on the end of the indicator stalk should trigger your phone assistant to listen for a voice command. Google etc.
