If anyone would like to add a rear barn door internal opening handle, here's what you need to get and do:
Get a front passenger door lock release mechanism and internal door handle.
First off you need to release the outside door handle, there will be a plastic disk on the inside edge of the door which when removed will allow a torx key to be engaged with the lock release to allow you to pull the key barrel(or blank if it's not got an actual key lock) from the handle unit. Once that's out you can release the door handle, there's another torx screw to remove once you've got the handle out the way and that will allow the whole handle unit to be pulled away from the internal void of the door. Then you can access where the release cable attaches to the handle unit and swap it over to the twin cable unit from a front passenger door and then fit the door release handle in the mounting position as shown
