Hi, a friend has a 2019 1.5hdi van, it’s recently thrown a light and message up:
Dtc P2413 (P2413-97) EGR valve actuator. Output stage overheated. Incorrect activation. Have re replaced the Egr valve (tried two new ones to be exact) The maf was playing up so that was also replaced at the same time. Same code after after a couple of starts (after clearing of course). The only strange info we can read is the coolant temperatures, there are three variants shown on test gear they are 1) engine coolant 2) adjusted temperature 3) nominal. Nominal is the one that the Egr uses for coolant temp on the Egr valve and this shows 50 degrees higher than the other temperature readings.
There additional info which traces it to ‘output switches in the ecu’
Sorry for the long first post but didn’t want to leave anything out, test gear used hg mega macs.
Thanks, bugsy.
