Well I think they do, but heard Halfords paint is a slightly darker shade than the actual car. For a touch up pen it may be ok.

If you're doing a larger area then it's worth getting the car colour matched.

Brilliant. That's a fair price. Ok so a few tips:

1. Buy a cheap-ass can of spray paint from anywhere to use for practice on something unimportant (i.e. not the new paint and not on your car)

2. Warm the can before use; in a basin of hot (not boiling) water for a good few mins. Then shake it as if your getting paid £1000 to shake it. For a while.

3. Stay at least 12" away from the surface, move constantly. Build up light coats.

4. Even-coverage is king; it can always be t-cut to get a good shine.

5. Do it on a dead-still windless day and still use a wind-break of some sort. There is more crap floating in the wind that you realise.

6. Mask off everything you don't want painted, only expose the bit you need to fix. Even if it results in a square newly painted area, it is easier and neater than blasting away and trying to remove overspray later. Again t-cut can be used to feather the edges when the paint is hardened.

7. Neighbours don't like you painting their car while doing yours... Paint spray floats a long way on the breeze.
