Today I realised that my remote key fob had come open and the innards have disappeared. How do I fix this?

look for them where ever you've been with the keys ??? my fob also opened quite often but the innards always stayed put !! the key works anyway without innards ,but it's the inconvenience isn't it of not opening the doors when you are approaching the vehicle !! PS I've put cellotape arond my fob now ,

Had a good look everywhere and no sign so I think it will eventually have to be a new key but we will put up with using the key to lock it for the time being
