Seam sealer cracking?

Hi all,

Just fitting my roof bars and it looks like the seam sealer is cracking? This a problem? Any tips to resolve? Thanks in advance,  Alex

New attachment  choose file 
 once you have chosen your picture  then Add attachment 
 It should show in the box , as   X .jpg. 

 Then insert into post

Maybe get white tigerseal and run a smooth bead across it again. Clean with isopropanol and a rag first.

I was thinking about tigerseal. Seems to be a quality product. Do you think I should remove some paint first, or just seal over everything? It's hidden as its so high and out of the way, so luckily no one will see it, so not bothered about painting it (but will do if required).

It's just the paint on top of the Sikaflex, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Any PU mastic will do the job, Soudaflex is half the price of Tiger Seal and Sikaflex and it all goes off in a fortnight if you don't use the whole tube.
