Fan control switch
#1
Hi everyone .
Problem with fan control switch .Full speed any position and intermittent function.( Air con Fitted) I have changed the hedgehog resistor pack on the fan motor a few times in the last 18 years, and will again.and cleaned the rotary switch contacts, with contact cleaner as best I can by taking the front panel off. i have finally found a N.O.S  complete control panel including switches knobs etc. However I think it could be tricky to remove with the control cables clips etc behind. I was wondering if anyone has just changed the circuit board ,it appears to be held in by a few clips. This would be a lot easier .
I hope this is possible as if it can be fixed and last another 18 years I've promised the wife a new car then.

Hi everyone ,
I wonder if anyone can help . Berlingo multispace 2.0 hdi .with air con
My existing control panel with an intermittent fan speed switch is part number 6451 NP and the n.o.s panel I have is 6451 NJ .Does anyone know whether the panels are interchangeable ?Did NJ supercede NP? My citroen dealer has only confirmed the part numbers but cannot confirm interchangeability There are 2 electrical connectors on the back . of each . 1 large multi cable plug (not used and 1 small square one that is used.) The parts are discontinued now.

The new panel has a rotary switch with 4 speed positions the older one has a graduated dial marking.
