engine light and airbag light intermitant

can anyone help i have a 2003 2.0hdi 64k from new it is now occasionally playing up with lights on dashboard the engine runs fine. i have tried pushing with wires under the drivers and passenger seat this kind of fixed the airbag light for a bit but it sometimes lights up. i had a diagnostic check a while ago at my local garage but it showed nothing.now sometimes the engine light shows up ?

any ideas?

The air bag light is a common issue and mine is the same. If if shift the seat about it will find a location which takes the light out.

The EML MUST trigger a code to indicate a fault.

Get that checked properly as there's no way this light without a fault code.
