Auto relocking doesn't sense tailgate opt

Hi, 

I have a 2010 multispace. My issue is that normally after unlocking the car it locks back if you don't open any doors for a little while. Unfortunately mine does this even if I open the tailgate which is very annoying as I can easily lock my keys in the car. I am running a little business so after a job when I am putting my equipment in the boot the car locks back so I have to open it again to get on once loading is done. 

Any suggestions or ideas how to solve this?

When you open the tailgate, this is accompanied by a message on the center display "Boot door open"?

If it's already open at the front and you unlock the tailgate / rear doors from the remote but don't actually open them, the whole van will lock itself after a few seconds. Yep, beware of that. No way round it except to press the rear door button on the dash then jump out, it won't relock then. As you open the front door before getting out, it stops the relocking timer.

Or keep the keys on you!

Hi, nothing appears on the center display until I turn the ignition on. Just tested it. Doesn't matter which door I am opening no message.
