hi i have a set of upgraded plastic engine cover mounts for a 2.0hdi engine .i by mistake brought 2 sets of these from ebay 170791602410 .i have just fitted a set to my car and must say that these should cure the problem of the standard one which dont seem to last.much stronger and look nice to.

I wonder how they've upgraded the rubber? Its the rubber mount that tends to split not the plastic bits.
15 quid for a few washers and nuts kerching!

the rubber mounts are lots thicker and rounder and are much stronger im sure they will last.before i brought them i looked around to see if i could buy the mounts on there own but the ones i found were 3.40 each they look like the kind of mount that are used to hold fuel filters under some cars.
