berlingo tow bar fitting price?

Hi I have berlingo 1.6 diesel through mobility and want to have a tow bar fitted to tow a caravan. Because its a mobilty car I have to go to authorised dealers to fit it-anyone got any idea of supply and fit prices by dealers? its 2 years old this june. thanks

My local Citroen main dealer price was £400 for swan neck tow bar & fully wired 13pin socket. The Citroen supplied loom only comes in 13pin as standard. If you want the older type 12n/12s twin sockets it costs extra. Some main dealers do not fit towbars in their workshop & have a list of approved towbar fitters. These would probably be cheaper than Citroen main dealer so would be a better bet if Mobility would allow it.

I can fit a swan neck for £400 plus electrics dedicated 13 pin kits are very exspensive £213 standard 12n 12a arr about £50 each. Dedicated is £144. All plus VAT i am a witter agent. If u let me know what u want ill sort out an exact price for you..

Fixed bars are ALOT cheaper.

Is it really worth fitting a towbar to this vehicle, Motability vehicles are only on contract for three years after which time you are given the option to renew the contract with another new vehicle or to buy the old one. If you are contemplating getting rid at the end of the 3 years then this means that you will only have just over 12 mths left and expensive fitting a bar...
