Road Tax Poem...

Wrote this last week whilst in a bad mood trying to tax the Berlingo...

DVLA- what can I say?
How many ways have I tried to pay?
I only want to tax the car
I've tried 2 different ways so far

Online the details weren't correct
So to the Post Office I trekked
I should have known it all along...
The detail that was wrong, was wrong!

Some details can be modified
Alas not this one- it's not right
I mean the detail there upon-
It wasn't the right kind of wrong

Post Office man regrets to say
"You'll have to try DVLA"
That Godforsaken, awful place
Of mega- queues & sullen face
I won't be driving there- no doubt
Because the f:censored: tax ran out! :brickwall:

Outstanding ThoraB - and I don't even know that a DVLA is. Probably something like the Dept. of Motor Vehicles that we have in the US. Workers sullen, lazy, IQ=shoe size and one step away from working at the Golden Arches.

Tis the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Authority. A truly horrible place to be... but having written that, when I went there, the staff were charming, efficient & I was out in 30 minutes! :woop:

I still feel justified though, the short journey there was a pain due to roadworks!
