DW8 gear ratios? possible to swap a 206 dw8 gearbox?

hello,

I'm from Romania and I own for a couple of years a 2004 Berlingo, DW8 engine.
the engine runs great, but I dont like the ratios of the gearbox, at least for my use, as I use this car mainly on straight roads & highway and the load weight isn't that huge.
so, for this purpose I'm looking for a taller ratio gearbox, or at least the 5th gear.
I've started search for this and looked for other cars that are using the same engine, and the closest one to my needs might be the Peugeot 206 gearbox.
have found one close to me, at a brake yard, it came from a 206 dw8 engine, UK version.

could someone help me and tell me if it will fit?
I've read that the differences might be on the clutch engagement, cable vs hydraulic.

mine should have a BE4 gearbox. what other gearbox that has taller gears would you recommend?
