Berlingo not starting
#1
Hello everyone

My 2015 berlingo was running great until one day it just cut out and lost power and the engine light came on.
So I’ve had a mate to scan the problem and he’s come up with these codes

1 c1178 ecu internal fault
2 040A oil gauge fault
3 0528 absence of command of the starter
4 p2291 the rise in pressure injection rail is too slow
5 p1497 turbo charger incorrect relative to requirement
6 p2562 turbo charger incorrect relative to requirements,  no enough turbo

I know there seems a lot and it was running fine I have he’d the battery off and charged van turns over but Wont fire/start

Thanks
Phil

This will be difficult to help with at all. The internal fault in the ECU is concerning and could be wiring damage from mice, chafing, a blown fuse, water ingress etc. The others can be caused by the first one.

040A is a dud, all Berlingo's report that fault, its a known bug but the rest are not. Try a reset of the BSI and battery but I don't hold out much hope of that working. Search the forum for BSI reset, it is in the top section of the page here: https://www.berlingoforum.com/forum-12.html

It probably needs a proper auto electrician who is familiar with PSA vehicles to check things over.
