For a week or so I was getting just the occasional whiff of 'something nasty' while driving. I wasn't too bothered as the car was behaving as it should and all its bodily fluids and life support systems seemed to be working. It was in dire need of a wash n vac though, so I gave it a once over. On lifting the nearside under-floor cubby-hole behind the passenger seat I found the cause - half-a-dozen eggs, long past their sell-by date, placed their by 'er indoors 'for safety' some time last October.....
Sometimes you're bound to wonder.....:justno:

Glad you found it. A little of that goes a loooooong way. I had a similar experience - some lunch meat that had fallen out of the grocery sack and into a plastic box I carry tools in.

Once had a large pickle jar full of king ragworm do a houdini into the back of a Mark4 Cortina estate. Not discovered until the next morning, by which time it was too late! Nothing under the sun could remove that smell and I had no option but to sell it, luckily it was summer and I could leave the windows open, but I do sometimes wonder how the new owner got on.

Have manged to spill milk in a motor and that niffs a bit, but also have manged to leave the lid loose on containers full of maggots on occasions too. Them little buggers realy get a shift on in their bid for freedom and many re present themselves as flies a few days later....

That's why I don't allow folk to eat in my Taxi, the smell is bad enough, and it lingers , :brickwall: but getting stains out is a real problem. :censored:
