Gear Linkage Repair
#1
Evening All,
Lost all gears suddenly and found what I believe is the longest gear linkage has detached from the lever stub (bush come out/crumbled)
Managed to cable tie it on to limp around currently.
Is there a bush insert I can order to fix the current one?  Know the full linkage bar is not too expensive but the other side appears deep in the bay which I feel I will not be able to reach and have to resort to getting a garage to fit it otherwise.
Thanks for your help.
Brad

Its beyond saving , they can be replaced quite easily with the aid of a jack and an axle stand to get to the other end

Morning,
Thanks for your response/help.
Decided to order a new one and will give it a go on axle stands (excuse to change Drop links that only listed 6 month also  Angry)

Assuming just pops off each end, fit the underneath/engine bay end first and then pop on larger bore end 2nd?
Thanks

Afternoon,
Spent around 45 mins trying to get the stuck bush of the control lever to no avail (even tried to multi tool cut it but too difficult)
To help anyone else in future with same problem, jack up the front left of the car/place on stand, can then get under wheel arch to gain access from underneath. Tactically placed flat head underneath with a few whacks with a hammer and came off a lot easier.
Drop links weren't tooo bad as nuts only put on a few months ago Smile
