You can check your vehicles MOT history by going here: mot.gov.uk

To check a vehicle’s MOT status or history online you will need the following:

• -Vehicle Registration Number
  
• -MOT Test number from either a VT20 Test Certificate or
  
• -a VT30 refusal certificate (failure certificate)
  

The MOT history check will then give you the following information:

• -full test details
  
• -mileage at the time of each test
  
• -if the car failed a test, what the reason was.
  

A great resource and a great way to find out the true and genuine mechanical history of your vehicle.
