anyone fitted wheel spacers, the last time I did it was in 1972 to a ford escort company car.
So just wondering if any one done it, to a mk2 or mk3 , thinking of 5mm spacers , just throw wheels out a little bit , make its stance better.
cheers
Pete

No idea about spacers but was wondering what effect wider set wheels would have on wheel bearing load stress since the moment arm is being extended.

Had 6mm spacers on a Clio for about 5 years with no issues.
Wouldn't go any bigger, it sat just nice.

well I used to do 60k a year back in the 70`s with them on, but I guess components were better made then.

I have them on my 06 multispace so I can run 195/65/15's
10mm front and 15 rear, hub centric.
Looks a lot better with the wheels flush with the arches.

Make sure to get longer bolts to match, I use longer bolts with my 20mm spacers

I think they we're around 45 quid in total, including longer bolts
