I've a feeling it was a T30 Peter, but @jj9, @Gadgetman or @saskak will know.

I've just checked them on my car as I couldn't remember and they're T55.

Never even looked at the number stamped on it.
GET A GOOD SET!

My go-to set looks something like this:

The more complete your set, the fewer trips to the store for more tools. And full sets in a case makes it easy to 'police' your tools. You see instantly if you're missing a piece.

I've got a Teng set the same as this. I just pick one that fits too. But some folk just buy bits as required.

Buying them separately is cheaper only as long as you never need more than a few of them.

Buying sets have saved me from a lot of desperate 'must reach HW store before closing' rushes. And those rushes are extra difficult if the car is in pieces, and the store is 20Km or more away...
I also have an 'after the fact' rule; that if I bodge through a job, but there exists a tool that would have worked better, I buy that tool the next time I'm at the HW store. If it's part of a set, I buy the set.
This rule has saved me from a few mad dashes, too.

Thanks all, I do have a set of torx bits and some loose ones. Now that I know hat size to look for among my loose ones.

I like to have everything ready before I start a job

Be sure to knock the bit into the head well with a hammer before you try to undo it as they are threadlocked and the heads are shallow.
So where does this bit go then ?

I have done the job a few times before, imprtant to clear the socket out before starting to remove

I am nearly certain they are T55. I use a breaker bar from Halfords and I think I bought the T set from Halfrods as well. Have used it quite a few times now and none of these have broken.
