We've only had the car a few weeks and we were having issues with R5L. It would run for a while then change to R5Livesport.
The dealer had no ideas and advised me to load the latest firmware (which failed - see other thread!)
The firmware update is now in but I can't see R5L at all now in the list. R1,2,3,4, 5Lsport, 6music, LBC, Asian Network but no others.
Is there something I'm missing? Is there some search to set up the list that I haven't found?
Thanks

By 5Lsport do you mean 5 Live Sports Extra? I can get Radio 5 and 5 Live Sports Extra - just along the coast from you in Kent.

The stations available in dab are not controlled by the radio itself. All radios are capable of receiving all channels or stations. Most likely it's an issue with locality or even the antenna.
My wife's car can receive Black Diamond no matter where she is, but mine can only get it in the city centre. So I can get it but only in a certain location which points to the gain of the antenna being different.
Most likely your antenna has degraded somehow, with a poorer ground plane connection or the signal core in the coax not as good a connection as it could be. Probably a bit of water has gotten into the antenna base via the roof seal if the dab antenna is integrated with the FM one.
Try a vehicle audio specialist somewhere? Or fit a high gain dab antenna.

Do you have the silly little stubby aerial fitted?
First thing I do when I change my Berlingos before I have even driven off the forecourt is swap out the stubby aerial for a longer one - it makes a world of difference!

I've just noticed your location is Sussex, East or West?
If west, the midhurst transmitter is your issue

Before faffing with the dealer as I had zero joy every time I've had the issue - just try a new aerial, its a simple unscrew job.

I’ve seen car dealerships remove aerials before popping them through a car wash,m then putting the aerial straight back in when the thread is wet
I had a dodgy reception once, on removing the aerial it was indeed corroded
Quick clean up and it worked much better
I’d not bother with a dealer, they are typically hopeless at anything other than pretending to service cars
