[Engine] oil leak

hi all
i am, having trouble locating an oil leak at the back of the engine on my 2003 1.9 d mk2
any advice on the most common area's for oil leak's .would be most appreciated

Crank case breather is likely in my experience, they never seal particularly well and a little oil can spread a long way.
