Clutch Pedal Really High! Is It Adjustable?

Hi Folks

I just got a 1.4 Berlingo Multispace MK I and am enjoying the whole experience. But the clutch pedal is really high compared to the brake and accelerator pedals. Can I Adjust it and if so How?

Having slackened pedal pivot bolt
1.Slacken the nut & bolt securing the pedal stop-plate to the pedal bracket
2 Using a lever raise the stop plate fully so that there is a considerable amount of free play at the pedal
3 Lower the stop-plate until there is between 1.0 & 3.0 mm free play at the pedal. Hold the stop-plate in position and tighten retaining nut.

Hope this helps. If you are going to keep the car I strongly advise getting the Haynes manual (No 4281) as it will save you £s on basic stuff
