Nothing specific per-cè, but if a fault condition is triggered within the BSI, which the cause of then rectified, does the BSI clear the initial fault, or would DiagBox need to be used to clear the fault?
Cheers

Faults are either Pending or Historical. Active codes are cleared from current memory but stored so Diagbox would see them all in a scan but you can tell pending from stored ones. Best thing to do is clear all, after making a note of them and then recheck for codes.
Most faults clear from the dash automatically if triggered, then vanish (if the fault went away by itself) with the exception of Airbag faults or comms faults (Vanbus / Canbus faults) which never self-clear.

Easy done btw. Who's never left a ratchet on the front panel and shut the bonnet on it!
Do you have Diagbox? Probably worthwhile as you're keeping this a while I expect.

For a Q&D scan tool you can carry in your pocket, and works really well, get Car Scanner ELM OBD2 by 0vZ on Google play store. Then get a vGate iCar Bluetooth device off Amazon, or the Carly Bluetooth device, use either of these with that app, and it works better than anything I've seen yet, short of actual Diagbox which is the ultimate tool for scan codes.
It also has a really good web search for codes found.
The app is free and the scan tools are less than £20 and fit in your glovebox.
