Hi,
I need the small retaining clip that holds outer cv joint on the original was bent beyond repair and I managed to brake the one that came with kit.

The small one that goes around the driveshaft end of the outer boot? In my experience, a cable tie is fine. In fact, I prefer one because if the boot needs to slip a bit of any reason (hopping a kerb in a full lock for example), I'd rather the driveshaft end slips than the CV end pops off.
If you really want to put a metal clip on, you can get assorted packs from a motor factors or ebay for not a lot. Doesn't matter if they're over length as long as there's a pin to bit onto, you can always cut the excess off.

No it holds the cv joint on the drive shaft it clips onto the shaft then you push the cv joint over it and it springs back out

Look on ebay for "CV joint snap ring"
Not sure of the size but 27mm seems to be common for a lot of the Citroen / Peugeot models.
