Hi, just had a poke about the engine bay and was surprised that I can see the ground under the engine.
I'm assuming there should be an engine undertray fitted to my 2019 petrol Berlingo?! When I've got on my back under the van, there is clearly a tray missing, the alternator belt and pulleys are very exposed.
Does any kind soul have the part number and fixings required to install?
Cheers

They are optional when the vehicle is ordered new. Mine was built without one too. You have to hunt on eBay for an aftermarket (new) or used tray. The fixing kit is often separate. (Is for new ones)
The no longer come with engine covers either. Those simply don't exist now.

You likely won't get anything cheaper than that. The factory one is probably £150.

the problem with the metal undertray is that in case of a front colision with the plastic(factory) one the engine and gearbox drops and it does not crush into the cabin, but with the metal one there is a risk that the engine and gearbox will not collapse..

Very good point @
deejay_xb, that never occurred to me at the time. If the general consensus is that this is a bad thing then I will remove the post so we don't appear to condone or sponsor an item which could be harmful in use. If people then choose to buy something like this by other means, that's their choice.

Whatever you decide to fit make sure that it is secured properly.
The day before yesterday we nearly had a serious accident. We were on a road in France tavelling behind a car at the national speed limit (80kph) when something flew out from under the car and wrapped itself round the front of our Berlingo Romahome. Fortunately it was some kind of flexible material but it had obviously only been taped on. It was definetly a scary moment.
