Bit of a weird one. I went to fill up, the tank was low, but the light wasn't on, and the pump said 51.1litres. I'm a bit on the sceptical side. What's the most any of you have put in, with or without the light on?

TBH I am not sure, but my guess is that your light was just about to come on.
PS doesn't the light mean that you have another 30m / 50km left in the tank?
That might roughly mean 5 litres of fuel?
I have done over 30 miles once or twice but not through choice and not by much, but could it be that there's really about 10 litres still in the tank?

Whatever the light tells you or the miles left dont run low or you could cause problems. We always look to fill all our vehicles when they get to 1/4 on the gauge

Cheers. Yeah, I normally fill at a quarter of a tank, rarely get to the light, but I know that this van doesn't mind going that far. They're all a bit different on that front though. I do some pretty high mileages and I'm fussy about where I fill up, so I can't always fill up as often as I'd like.
