B9 Berlingo tyre modify: Pilot Sport 4
#1
I have a B9 people carrier with original tyre size: 215/55R16,and the alloy is confirmed 7j width, not 6.5j as many people said online, but just for Peugeot Partner Tepee 2011, I am not sure whether the rim size is same for Citroen Berlingo or even Peugeot Partner built in other model year. This alloy can fit well with 225/50R16, and will not wider than the car itself, can be used normally. Pilot Sport 4 can make the driving much more stable and relaxing with a 32psi pressure on motorways than cheaper tyres. Although the tyre seems much smaller and probably a shorter suspension can be used.

For speedometer, before I change the tyre size it is not very accurate at all and I think it is to prevent speeding. with 215/55R16, it is 72 or 73 mph on speedometer when it is 70mph on Waze and PetalMaps. After the modify it is 74 or 75mph on speedometer when it is 70 on sat navs. It will not influence too much and can be driven normally if you remember the deviation and this is not too much compared to original. I used to drive a Toyota Auris (called Toyota Corolla Levin in China) once, it is much more inaccurate than this.
