Just joined and wanted to say hello. 

Shook hands on  2015 Multispace with 125k yesterday for 5k. FSH and one owner with a years MOT and 6m warrenty. Price may seem a little high, but i'm in Northern Ireland and our used market is a little but more expensive than GB. 

Currently sifting through the forum trying to convince myself i'm doing the right thing. Any advice for what to look out for or words of encouragement would be much appreciated before i seal the deal next Saturday.

Been looking at these for a year waiting on my 2006 Honda Accord to kick the bucket. My end goal is a micro camper, currently looking at the R.E.D getaway unit with a tentbox on the roof. Will also be using it for my day to day car and short commute to the office a few days a week. Will also be transporting the wife and kids 2 & 5 to various locations to keep them entertained at the weekends. Then once friends and family realise that i actually have a van as well as a car i will be no doubt lifting washing machines and other large goods from various retailers.

Anyway that's me and why i'm here.

Prices are high generally these days. Painful.

Unless you don't need it cos you're a mech or it's too late, get an independent inspection done. All service histories are perfect until they aren't one day! I'd check expensive bits - head gasket, heater matrix, etc.

I was looking at a seemingly very good Merc Vito a couple of weeks back. Did the usual online checks; it seemed VERY cheap for its condition. Then I decided to check the dealer out and only then noticed where the van was - Shetland!

So how much would that cost to ship to Essex??
